Master the ancient art of strategy through games that shaped civilizations. From the courts of emperors to the battlefields of legends — every move writes history.
Rat Race is the game we built for the families who never got to slow down. Both rulers — king and queen — start with full queen-range mobility, both partners out there hustling, neither yet a check target. When attrition takes one, the survivor drops to defensive-ruler mode: one square at a time, holding the line. Pawns can leap the queue from any rank, and a power move (knight-strike) lands when one ally is watching the landing — good trouble takes an ally. Promote a pawn to queen and the partnership restores. Strength through partnership, struggle through loss, restoration through the people. The righteous rerack starts here.
Bunker is the game of the household division. Both rulers start at full power — but no one has decided yet who runs the world and who holds the home. The first bold move reveals the split: move a ruler more than one square and they become the offensive ruler (full queen mobility); castle, and that royal walks into the bunker as the defensive ruler (one square, holding the fort). Pawns still leap the queue — but the power move (knight-strike) now takes two allies watching the landing. The affluent home is denser; good trouble takes more of us. Strategy isn't just played — it unfolds.
Beyond our original variants, step into the games that shaped the strategists of history. Play the same boards that emperors, generals, and scholars used to sharpen their minds across millennia.
